Have I mentioned that creating story stones is super addictive? I spent some time designing and making some new characters and props this past week.
This little house is part of my newly designed Story Stones: Create Your Own Fairy Tale series. There are lots of little people, critters, and items that complete the series, which I’ll be posting bit by bit this week and next.
I’ll also have some new story stones in the shop beginning on Wednesday, July 29th. Look for nests, woodsy bits, and fairy tale fun.

These are a lovely idea, I’ve just started making some with my 4 year old thanks to your earlier post on story stones. But we don’t seem to have mod podge in Aus, I am using something called PVA – poly-vinyl Acetate – a general purpose wood and crafty type glue. But it doesn’t give the glossy finish that your stones have. What is in mod podge, so that I can look for a more similar alternative. Thanks!

hi cat,
i’m not sure what is in mod podge (don’t see the ingredients on the container). it is a waterbase sealer, glue and finish all in one, and it is made by the company, plaid. i wish i knew how to help you replicate it.
i’m glad you are having fun with stones!
