Draw imperfect pencil lines on a journal page.
Fill them with color, color, color! I used a mix of Sharpie markers, watercolor, and oil pastels. Use anything you can get your hands on.
Draw little patterns, use metallic markers, layer colors, use black and brown and regular pencil. Stream of consciousness, freestyle art is good for brains and minds and hearts.

Hi I just found your blog. i have a community art studio in Knoxville TN. As part of the studio I started a blog. One of the topics I blog about is Art Prompts. I find various prompts around the web share them with my audience linking back to the source of course. I then work the prompt myself and share my take on it with my audience and then challenge them to take the plunge. I loved this prompt and wanted to use it as my first one in the series. I just saw where you asked for people to ask your permission before using a photo and I neglected to do this. I have not released the post yet and I will pull your photo if you wish but I would really love to share it with mu readers. Please let me know. The one I used is the first one on your post and I linked to your post and credited you with the prompt. I hope this is OK.
