Mr. Cute sitting at our booth. I think he had just stopped screwing hardware onto the backs of the hook boards.
Me. Happy to be in Brooklyn on a warm weekend in May.
It was an inspiring, beautiful, busy two days. I felt lucky to be surrounded by amazing and creative artists and crafters. My neighbors were Panda With Cookie, whose tofu pirate is my new best friend, the lovely Becka of Becka Soup, and Schmutzerland. Oh, and I especially loved meeting Emily from Slapp Happie. She makes the most beautiful embroidered pillows, bags, and such, and she made me laugh. I told her about the killer soft tacos across the street, and when she took a bite of one, it was instant bonding.
Thanks to those of you NYC peeps (and Ms. DelVicario) who visited the show – seeing you guys there made us so happy.
